Syllabus Correction

The 2009 Syllabus, available now in shops on the Island and shortly as a download on the website, contains an error in the set pieces for Class S7 (Special Baritone). The first set piece should read "Give Me Back My Lord" from St Matthew Passion - J S Bach.

2008 AGM

The 2008 Annual General Meeting was held on Thursday 13th October in the Council Chamber at Douglas Town Hall, courtesy of the Mayor and Douglas Corporation.

2008 Cleveland Medal Winner

The winner of the 2008 Cleveland Medal was Terence Qualtrough (Bass), who last won the medal in 1997. Terry was chosen as winner by Dame Ann Murray, and he beat off strong competition from Jane Corkhill (Soprano), Mandy Griffin (Mezzo), Ernie Thorn (Tenor), Jane Mayne (Contralto), and Graham Crowe (Baritone).
